Hello and thank you for stopping by my site.
My name is Lisa Hurdiss. I have lived in the Santa Clarita valley for over 20 years. I worked as a groomer for 11 years. I started my own pet sitting business over 5 years ago and couldn’t be happier. I am Insured, Bonded, C.P.R. and First Aid Certified by the American Red Cross.
I am a volunteer for The Gentle Barn and Villalobos Rescue Center, both of which are local animal rescue organizations. I worked with The Gentle Barn when they rescued over 200 abandoned and abused animals on a five acre property in the high dessert during the winter. I helped with the initial evaluation and documentation of all of the dogs on the property. My duties were to determine the breed, temperament, health, and any “issues” of each dog.
I have had many rescued animals over my life time. I have two rescued pit bulls, “Dude” and “Stella Blu.” Dude was one of the dogs from The Gentle Barn rescue in the high dessert. Poor Dude, for a whole month he sat in a kennel and watched people walk by and take dogs all around him to their new home, yet he always had a smile on his face and a waggle in his tail. The last week of the rescue, a day before a snow storm, I took this skinny, dirty, smelly but happy dog home. I was not planning on taking a dog home. Dude is now a healthy,- ball chasing- belly rubbing- bone eating -easy going dog.
My other dog is Miss Stella Blu (Daddy’s little princess). I got an e-mail with picture included, from a rescue volunteer about a sick puppy at a San Bernardino shelter that had less than 24 hour before she took the walk of no return. So, I jumped in the car and drove 2 hours each way to pick up this sick little girl. Miss Stella had just about everything a sick puppy could have, worms, kennel cough, fever, and a U.R.P. infection. We weren’t sure if she was gonna make it. BOY were we wrong. Miss Stella is now a healthy, affectionate, intelligent, happy little puppy with attitude and character who has Daddy wrapped around her little paw. She even pushes Dude around to get her way, and he outweighs her by 20lbs. LOL.
These are just two of the animals I have had in my life. As you can see I have a special place in my heart for all animals, especially rescued dogs and bully breeds. I thought by telling you a little about my own animals you could get a better idea of the type of Pet Sitter that I am. I love my dogs, they are children to me. That is how I treat all of my fluffy, furry, feathered , scaly, or leather hide clients.

Daily Visits Include
Fresh food and water, washing food and water bowls. Exercising and playtime with your pet. Yard or litter box clean -up. Medications administered. Lots of love.
One time per day – $25; 2x $50; 3x $60
( Yard must be poop-free at start of first visit)

Do you need a quick stop for a potty break for your fur baby or an update on your new puppy ,kitten or senior pet for peace of mind? Then this is perfect for you.
One Quick Stop Per Day – $15; 2x $30; 3x $40
Daily Dog Walks
25 mins/ $20
Rates are for 1 dog- $5 per each additional dog walked at the same time.
Only 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs will be walked at the same time for safety reasons. fresh water will be given after every walk and poop will be picked up during walk.
Overnight Visits Include:
Breakfast and dinner feedings, food and water bowls cleaned,fresh water, medications administered, playtime, litter box and yard pick up,treats given and as always lots of love given.
If you answered yes to any of the above, then you will have peace of mind knowing they are getting the same love and attention and comfort in their own home while you are away.
$80.00 per night ( 10 hours )
Key pick up/return: $10.00 ( if not provided during consultation)
Holidays:
Holiday Charges apply to the following observed holidays:
New Years Day,Easter Sunday, Memorial day, Fourth Of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.
Holiday Dates incur a surcharge of $10.00 in addition to the regular visit.
